The people behind BraakmanZicht

A family business with 20 years of history, in the hands of a new generation since the end of 2024 — with the same hospitality.

Behind BraakmanZicht are Erik and Arinda. Arinda is the hostess — the face that welcomes you, thinks along with you and makes sure everything is just right. Erik is more involved in the background and lends a hand wherever needed.

Since the end of 2024 we have been running BraakmanZicht together, having taken it over from Erik's parents, who ran this special place with love for eighteen years. That is both a privilege and a responsibility: what they built up, we want to continue and help grow.

The name BraakmanZicht comes literally from what you see from our yard: the view of the Braakman nature reserve. Woods, creeks, meadows — and if you listen carefully, all you hear is the wind. That peace and space is exactly what makes BraakmanZicht special. At the same time, you have everything you need close at hand.
